Hollywood reacts to Iran general assassination

Hollywood stars slam Trump's action as a threat to America following his order leading to martyrdom of Iran top commander.

Good number of Hollywood stars call Trump a threat to America following his order leading to martyrdom of Iran top commander general Ghassem Soleimani.

The stars slammed Trump's knee-jerk decision to assassinate commander Soleimani among them were actors, directors and artists. Below are some of the reactions:

Rosanna Arquette publicized her opinion, briefly writing, "Hitler did the same thing."

Debra Messing brought up an old post from 2012 written by Trump that read, "Now that Obama's poll numbers are in tailspin - watch for him to launch a strike in Libya or Iran. He is desperate."

Rob Reiner also wrote in the social media, "What a horrible feeling. Having a Commander-In-Chief who you know is a Pathological Liar trying to justify striking the heart of Iran's military."

Alec Baldwin with his impersonations of Trump on TV shows noted in a post that the US president did all this to distract the public opinion from his impeachment.

"Off to war - god help us #RemoveTrump," Rosie O'Donnell said in a social media post.

Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), were killed in US airstrikes in the Iraqi capital Baghdad early on Friday.
